Training courses for classic-car fans with a passion for technology

In order to preserve and share practical know-how for the maintenance and repair of classic cars of different ages, Bosch Classic has relaunched a series of technical trainings.

Technology-enthusiastic owners of classic and young classic cars can participate in special training courses on Bosch systems older than 20 years.

To ensure optimum training success, a maximum number of 14 participants are admitted.

Duration of the training: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Training fee: EUR 150.00 incl. VAT

D-Jetronic

Bosch D-Jetronic is an electronically controlled gasoline injection system. Its series production started in 1967. By means of the electronic control unit, the precision of fuel metering can be increased – compared to conventional carburetor engines. This allows compliance with more stringent emission standards.

K/KE-Jetronic

Bosch K-Jetronic is a mechanical fuel-injection system. Its series production started in 1972. To reduce the fuel consumption and to meet more stringent emission standards the electronically assisted KE-Jetronic followed soon.

Bosch ignition systems

A well-working ignition system is essential for motor vehicles. There can be no correct combustion of the fuel without it. As time moved on, ignition technology has changed considerably.

Mechanical Bosch gasoline injection

The mechanical fuel injection (MFI) emerged in the 1950s. It increased the engine output and reduced the fuel consumption. It was equipped with sophisticated mechanics

Bosch starters and alternators

Starters and alternators are essential vehicle components. If one of them fails, the vehicle is only partly operational. Both components affect other products and systems within the vehicle.

Due to the dynamic development of the coronavirus pandemic and the necessary hygiene and safety precautions, we regret that we cannot offer you any training dates at present. We will keep you informed on this page or in our our newsletter.

You will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail and an invoice by mail. Please transfer the training fee to the bank account specified in the invoice. You will not receive a confirmation of payment. In case we do not receive your payment in due time, we will get in touch. Shortly before the training, we will send you additional information and a description of how to get to the training location.

Cancellation conditions

Cancellation must be made in writing to classic@bosch.com. Cancellation fees are as follows:

In case of cancellation up to 28 days before the training: free of charge.
In case of cancellation up to 14 days before the training: 50% of the training fee.
In case of cancellation up to 7 days before the training: 75% of the training fee.
In case of cancellation less than 7 days before the training: 100% of the training fee.

In case of no-show (without timely cancellation), the training fee will not be refunded. For substitute participants, please contact classic@bosch.com.
