Vehicle batteries store electric energy and provide it whenever needed. While driving, the battery is charged by the alternator. At a stop, it supplies electrical consumers such as the starter and the radio with electric energy.

The backfire protection included in the seal plugs provides additional safety.
Classic batteries are supplied dry and precharged. The battery is ready for use shortly after filling it with acid – to be ordered separately.
